As a local spa owner, you already know how important it is to litter your menu with numerous spa packages for your clients to choose from. We’ve already discussed in our previous post how spa packages act as a…

1. Great Way to Test Out New Services

2. Better Value for You / Better Value for Customers

3. Better Presentation

Now, you may realize how important quality spa packages are for making greater profits; however, what might be a little unclear is how exactly do you go about selling your awesome spa packages. Every spa offers package deals. They’re a dime a dozen. If you’re looking for the best ways to get more clients to purchase more spa packages, look no further.

Here are 3 tips for selling your spa packages by the boatload.

1. Spa Packages Selling Tip #1 - Limited Time Offers

People tend to take for granted the things that are readily available to them. On the other hand, we always want what we can’t have, or the things we think we’re going to lose. Keeping that in mind, consider creating spa packages that are only available for a limited amount of time.

Attaching a swift deadline is a great motivator for getting clients to purchase your spa packages. For example, if you create a new service package, promote it with the pretense of only being available for a month. Regardless of the time frame that you choose, the goal here is to create a sense of urgency. Don’t give clients the opportunity to mull it over. Force them to make a split second decision — act now or lose your chance.

You may be pleasantly surprised how many people choose to give your service a try in fear of never getting to again.

2. Spa Packages Selling Tip # 2 - Seasonal Theme

Choosing to give your spa packages a theme is great way to catch your clients’ attention. Themes act as a great way for your package to stand out among the sea of bland and generic ones. Fusing your spa packages with a fun, seasonal theme works to make your packages better resonate with your clients.

Luckily, the end of August/start of September presents spas with tons of seasonal themes to tryout on their packages.

A.) Summer Themed: Summer may be almost over, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still use it as a theme for a package. For this theme you can even incorporate tip number one — running an end of summer package which concludes after the first week of september. Consider giving your specials and discounts summer infused twist. Think decorating packages or promoting them with bright and radiant colors, “fun in the sun” sort of names, and tons of caricatures that are everything sun, shades, and sand.

B). Fall Themed: You can also take an opposite approach for a spa package theme and fully embrace the approaching fall season. Think decorating packages or promoting them with deep red/orange/brown/and yellow colors, “fall in love” sort of names, and tons of caricatures that are everything leaves, pumpkins, and apples.

C). Back-to-School: Another equally relatable, fun theme you can use with your spa packages is a back-to-school theme. Think red/orange fall colors, “back to school” sort of names, and tons of caricatures that are everything notebooks, pencils, and school buses.

3. Spa Packages Selling Tip #3 - Loyalty Reward

Membership and loyalty programs can be a vital part to the overall success of your spa. They help promote repeat business and keep your customers coming back. However, they fail to actually work if you have no enticing benefits. That’s where your spa packages come into play.

Many spas use special packages as a reward for a membership or loyalty program. You can use access to special product or service packages as a way to encourage clients to sign up for your membership or loyalty programs. This way you kill two birds with one stone — you get your spa packages in front of your clients, and you promote more repeat business.
